On Tuesday night the Toledo Black Hawks defeated the visiting Black swamp team 16-3 at Bowman Park to push their record to 2-0 in the weekday league.

 

 

After a 1,2,3 inning in the visitors half of the first, the Black Hawks erupted for 9 runs in the bottom of the first and went on to score runs in all 4 of the innings that the home team batted. The game was halted after the visitors half of the fifth. The offense was led by Ryan Hotmer (Owens / Walbridge Oh) who was 2 for 2 with a 3 - bagger, 3 RBI and 2 R/S. Colton Poncsak (Ohio Wesleyan / Bryan)  chipped in with 2 RBI and 2 R/S. Tyler Glass ( Glen Oaks CC / Petersburg Mi) pitched 4 inning allowing 5 hits and 3 runs and Ryan Hotmer came in to pitch a perfect fifth inning.

The Black Hawks will be back in action on Thursday at Bowman at 8: 15pm against the Genoa Rampage.
